The new restaurant at Te Puia in Rotorua has just been completed.
It has outstanding views of the geothermal valley and Pohutu Geyser
Pohutu is the largest natural geyser in the Southern Hemisphere.
This will add to the amazing experience in Rotorua that we will share with our cruise ship visitors when they visit the port of Tauranga New Zealand.
Along with access to the world famous Pohutu geyser, visitors have an opportunity to see Māori cultural performances, live kiwi birds, boiling mud pools, native bush and the National Schools of Wood Carving and Weaving.
These are the threads that form the fabric of Te Puia, fitting its role as kaitiaki (guardian) of Māori culture for future generations.
Te Puia spans 70 hectares within the historic Te Whakarewarewa Valley,
Home to the world famous Pohutu Geyser, mud pools, hot springs, to silica formations to the Kiwi bird and the national schools of wood carving, weaving, stone and bone carving.
Te Puia has shared these treasures with manuhiri (visitors) for 170 years and proudly continue that legacy today.
Bruce and Irene your Amazing Day Tour hosts personally guide you through this incredible venue which will leave you with lasting memories, experiences and photos of your New Zealand visit.
